![]() Bertha founded Del Mar Global Consulting to enable businesses to improve products and services through customer-focused, measurable, process improvements. Bertha has developed and led six sigma quality programs in Ireland, Mexico, and Brazil. She introduced six sigma to a 13 branch operation in Ireland, trained 50% of the organization in one month and reduced an inventory deficit by $400K. Bertha has coached global six sigma black belts on customer-focused strategy, metrics, training and projects, resulting in sales and operating margin growth of over $1.0 MM. Bertha led a 32 person cross-functional, multi-location, culturally diverse project team to deliver a $1.0 MM project on-time and budget. The project included the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, six sigma projects and an enterprise system for a distribution operation in Mexico. As a national commercial e-business leader for business to business (B2B) digitization programs, she negotiated contracts and implemented marketplaces that enabled $2.0MM in annual sales. She facilitated customer discussions to discover B2B opportunities and increased digitized transactions by 75%. Using six sigma, she delivered $1.0 MM in digitization productivity. Bertha has provided strategic and tactical IT leadership for application systems in Ireland, Mexico, and Brazil. She created and led a global organization to provide support for financial shared service centers in Beijing, Hong Kong & Singapore. She conducted IT due diligence for three business acquisitions, and has led software development teams for a wide variety of business applications. In addition to her consulting work, Bertha is an instructor in e-business, project management and software development at the University of Phoenix in San Diego. Bertha has a BA in Math from St John’s University, NY and an MBA from Sacred Heart University, CT. She is an advanced Toastmaster with Toastmasters International. She is Six Sigma Black Belt certified through GE. |
